The Bookcafe is another part of the original vision for Pine Lake. Once built, it will offer many new opportunities with the relaxed cafe area ideal for chilling. There will be books to purchase and read as well as other things to buy to take home. There will be craft rooms and model-making rooms, increasing the activities offered by Pine Lake. The roof space will provide further family accommodation.
Planning permission has been granted for the Bookcafe. Very little has been made for this facility. In the early days, we had archeology investigations which came up with nothing so foundations can be put in. Electric cables have been laid.
Once the Sports Hall is finished, we believe that this facility would bring two more staff accommodation options plus further activity rooms for the non sporty children and young people.
