In order to maintain a clean and healthy environment for all the children on camp, we would ask that parents/guardians would not send their children to camp if they have had sickness in the last 48 hours before camp or they are displaying signs of sickness. The reason for this is that we want to protect children and adults from preventable infection.

If a child has sickness or diarrhoea whilst on camp, parents will be contacted immediately and should collect their child immediately.

If a member of staff suspects that a child has an infectious or contagious disease, they will request that they are picked up and taken to a doctor before returning the child to camp.

There will always be a good number of staff present who have the Emergency First Aid at work certificates. This is in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations, 1981. First Aid boxes are in suitable positions on all three floors. There are two First Aid bags which are taken to activity zones which are further away from the main centre. Names of qualified First Aiders are displayed in the foyer.
