Training Opportunities
Opening the Scriptures
This seminar is an introduction to the 'chronological approach' to evangelism and discipling others (as in the books such as 'The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus' and 'Firm Foundations - Creation to Christ'). We examine in detail Jesus' approach on the rod to Emmaus in Luke 24 - this gives so much insight into how He 'opened the scriptures' and shared the good news of 'the things concerning Himself, beginning with Moses and all the prophets...'. Basic principles and the practical use of this approach and these 'evangelistic tools' are covered in this five hour seminar.
Each One Reach One, Each One Teach One
This seminar is on personal evangelism and discipleship. It is an examination of the 'Who, What, Where, Why' of our Lord's Great Commission, with specific and detailed attention given to the 'How' of evangelism and disciple-making. The highly motivational study clearly emphasizes the priority and practice of personal evangelism and one-to-one discipling in ministry both at home and abroad.
This course explores: the awesome potential of 'spiritual multiplication'; 'fishing for men'; the greatest hindrances to effective outreach; and the patterns and examples of evangelism and discipling in our Lord's ministry and that of the Apostle Paul.
Bible Exhibitions
This day is for any who are interested in running an exhibition and for those who are interested in the on-going work of exhibitions. It is necessary for churches who have had them before to send at least one person from their leadership team or planning committee.
Children's Ministry
A number of different learning opportunities can be arranged to help support and train people who are new to children's ministry as well as those who just want to look at being more effective. We can all learn from one another and in a changing world, keeping fresh and relevant without compromising the message is what we all need to aspire to.
