Training Programme starting in September 2012

During the next twelve months, we are hoping to finish the first phase of a four phase building project. This facility will give us an exciting facility for all age ministry. Children's and youth camps will be the main focus with other activities planned for other age groups. In September 2012, we are offering a one year training programme for those who are looking at full time Christian ministry.

Roof Tiled and Windows going in

Apologies for not posting many blogs recently, but life has been hectic! We managed to grab a weeks break in Keswick in the Lake District at the beginning of the month. Olly, from O.P. Manning roofing, managed to quickly respond to our request to get the roof tiled. We had four guys on sight and they really made good progress. Blocks to ground level
We are further on than the pictures show! The slab was poured last Wednesday working under the lights of the digger! The cement mixers didn’t turn up until about 4pm with less than an hour of light left. A good team turned up and it was all down by 7:30pm. Adrian was amazed at the team effort. Unfortunately, Adrian had an injection in his back on Thursday and they missed the right spot and hit a nerve! He has been in great pain and has to have another operation to repair the damage after he has got over the infection that he caught in hospital over the weekend. Please pray for him.

Today, we had a site visit by Mike Naylor who is overseeing the overhead cables going into the ground. A week on Monday, we’ll start digging the trenches ready for the cables being laid on Thursday 19th November. John Powell is working on the Managers house foundations and we should be able to start the design of the basement within the next few days.
